  • Limited visibility of focus indicators during keyboard navigation.

Description:
Two parking spaces for persons with disabilities are available near the main entrance.

Main entrance to the building:

  • Due to terrain layout, the entrance includes both stairs with handrails and a level (“zero-level”) entrance.

  • The doors open automatically.

Inside the building:

  • Stairs are equipped with handrails on both sides.

  • Elevators are equipped with voice announcements and Braille-labeled buttons (one elevator without Braille). One elevator does not serve level -1, while another serves all levels.

  • Each floor has at least one restroom adapted for persons with disabilities.

  • The information system for persons with sensory disabilities includes:

    • room number plates in Braille and with QR codes,

    • display screens in faculty halls showing relevant information for students and staff.

Assistance dogs are allowed to enter the building without restrictions (under the Act on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities).

Communication and information accessibility

The information system for persons with sensory disabilities includes:

  • Room, office, and restroom signs with Braille inscriptions and QR codes.

  • An induction loop system installed in the Aula for persons with hearing impairments.

  • Floor plans displayed on each level (0, 1, 2).

  • Display screens in faculty halls presenting information important to AMU students and employees.

Assistance dogs are allowed in the building without any restrictions (under the Act on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities).
